Each dot is one neuron’s soma location from MaleCNS. On a new tick, the signal moves from the eyes through the brain by synaptic-hop distance; then each neuron flickers at its actual rate from the previous tick (8× slow motion). Drag or use arrow keys to rotate; Ctrl+wheel or +/− to zoom; hover to inspect a neuron.

Account information sent to the fly before its decision.
Affordability includes the order minimum and reserved fees. Other execution checks still apply.
The candle and eyes update each second. The brain keeps its state between slices. Trade proposals and new feedback are evaluated at most once per minute; spike plots summarize completed decision windows.
Blue: – bid price; yellow: paper-account equity (right axis). ▲ Buy ▼ Sell
Dashed lines are the ±2 Hz thresholds; dot colour is the decision for that tick.
Waiting for HODL comparison…
Yellow: fly; cyan: fee-aware HODL. Shared USDC scale, marked at bid. Fully invested HODL ignores the fly's per-order cap.
Green: PAM11; red: PPL101. Counts include endogenous activity; the reinforcement panel identifies imposed pulses.
Purple: changed KC→MBON synapses (7,835 total); cyan: mean efficacy (1 = baseline).
Each neuron's mean Hz over the previous decision window, using its actual simulated duration.
7,835 KC→MBON07/11 synapses; 1.0 = baseline, <1 = dopamine-depressed.
Data: (read-only paper simulation). Decision records checked every 4 seconds; streaming observations and the eye image every second. Brain animation uses the latest completed decision window.
Animation: each decision window records only each neuron's spike count, not individual spike times. Wave order is an illustration based on synaptic distance from the eyes; blink rate is the prior tick's real firing rate, slowed 8×.
Note: “buy/sell neurons” and “profit/loss dopamine” are engineered interfaces. The connections come from a real fly connectome, but the neural dynamics and learning rules are not biologically validated and have not been proven profitable.
